Dr. Clugston: positions available

Dr. Clugston’s laboratory is currently recruiting undergraduate and graduate students interested in vitamin A (retinoid) biology, with applications focused on the role of retinoid signaling in the pathogenesis of liver disease, metabolic disease, and embryogenesis.

Undergraduate students wishing to obtain laboratory experience during the summer months, or conduct an undergraduate research thesis (e.g. PHYSL467, or PHYSL468/469) are welcome to contact Dr. Clugston by e-mail (clugston@ualberta.ca) with a letter of interest, as well as an attached resume and copy of undergraduate transcripts.

Graduate students wishing to undertake an MSc or PhD in the Clugston laboratory should e-mail Dr. Clugston with a letter of interest and the following documents: academic CV, undergraduate transcripts, and a list of three references. In all cases, students with a background in physiology or biochemistry and previous lab experience will be given priority.
